A huge round of applause for Kent’s Bank and Foreshaw Friends Group who was presented with a GOLD certificate at the ACoRP awards last week.  This dedicated Group has worked hard to maintain and improve the garden areas of the station and have created new projects over the year.  The Group have also received the Cumbria in Bloom 2018 Thriving certificate.

The ACoRP Community Rail Awards, now in its 14th year, recognises the important and often unsung work carried out by community rail partnerships, station friends and other community rail groups across the country. The awards  are a big thank you for work that is being carried out  by Friends Groups and for their enthusiasm, energy and innovation.
