Sunday Services coming soon

May 20th finally launches the long overdue Sunday timetable that will allow people to travel the complete length of the Cumbrian Coast Line between Barrow and Carlisle. Passengers will now be able to experience a wide range of activities ranging from a trip to Ravenglass to ride the Lal Ratty, visit the wonderful Discovery Centre at Millom, drop into Foxfield for a pint in the Prince of Wales pub which has its own micro- brewery or sample the delicious home-made scones at the newly opened Pam’s Café at Kirkby-in-Furness.

A number of marketing banners have been distributed at stations along the line to raise the awareness, and to also celebrate this historic occasion. PDF copies of the new timetables can be downloaded from the Arriva Rail North website northernrailway.co.uk/timetables, paper copies are hoping to be completed for the start of June.

There are hidden gems everywhere. Enjoy exploring the line!
