West Coast Railways (WCR), is a railway spot-hire company and charter train operator based at Carnforth.  With effect from Monday 18 June the Company is running a temporary rail shuttle service along the Lakes Line between Oxenholme and Windermere and stopping at Kendal, Burneside and Staveley.  The service is expected to operate for a 2 week period subject to confirmation.

 

Departure times from Oxenholme: 09:25,10:40,12:40,14:40,16:35 and 17:50.

Departure times from Windermere: 10:00,11:30,13:30,15:30,17:10 and 18:30.

The journey takes approximately 25 minutes.
