Improvement work at Whitehaven station has transformed the car park and waiting shelters

The car park has been resurfaced and redesigned, increasing the number of parking spaces for passengers, including the addition of two more accessible bays, taking the total to four.  Northern has also relined the car park to create safe walking routes and a pedestrian crossing. Avanti West Coast Removal of Friday Peak Restrictions
