Start your day out with a fabulous scenic trip along the Lakes Line, Furness Line or Cumbrian Coast Line and begin your walk from a railway station. Our walks leaflets provide a range of circular routes that will take you back to your origin station or another station close by. The scenery is stunning and there are places to stop along the way for a well earned cup of tea. It’s time to get your boots on and see some of Cumbria’s most lovely countryside.

This includes the Furness ‘Window Gazer’ a leaflet showing a series of interpretation panels. Acting as signposts from each railway station, the panels encourage people to explore important landmarks and visitor points in the local area. This celebrates the wonderful cultural and natural heritage of Morecambe Bay and the historic Furness railway.
