The Kents Bank Station has received a further splash of colour as the second wildlife art panel has been fitted. The two artwork panels look wonderful and make the shelter look ‘loved’ and cared for. The portrayals of the birds, which are local to Kents Bank/Morecambe Bay, are educational and engaging.

Friends of Askam Station have managed to resurrect a project for their station with spectacular results. The Group had previously received some funding from the Local Committee for a small project for the station but following support from Community Rail, Northern (Arriva), the Parish Council and the National Lottery a more ambitious project was realised. …
