Kents Bank

Kents Bank takes its name from the River Kent which once ran close to the village.  This charming village is a quiet and peaceful place and the view from the station across Morecambe Bay is one of the most beautiful in the country.

Kents Bank serves as the finishing point for the guided Cross-Bay Walks.  From the platform there is easy access straight onto the foreshore of the bay.  Both Kents Bank and Humphrey Head lie on the Cumbria Coastal Way walking route.

Whilst at the station, pop into the Beach Hut Gallery – an artists’ co-operative and gallery with exclusive paintings, wood and glass works located in the station building.
