Some of the pupils from Flimby Primary School (Year 6) have been transforming the look of Flimby Train station along with the pupils and staff from Workington Academy, artist Todd and Matthew from The Colourful North.

The art department from Workington Academy have supported the project from the start and been instrumental in the planning and design.

Not forgetting the children who also came up with the initial design and loved the spray painting with a wide range of colours, they were absolutely fantastic on the day.

It was great to see organisations working together to deliver this sea themed artwork, it has certainly brightened up the look of Flimby station.

A big thank you also needs to go out to both Northern and ACoRP, without their support this project wouldn’t have been possible.
