The newly refurbished footbridge at Millom station has re-opened this week to delight of the local community. The bridge was removed in March this year to undergo extensive refurbishment work that had been long overdue, both Network Rail and Northern have worked in collaboration to deliver this successful project.

The bridge further enhances Millom station and the wonderful Discovery Centre located within the station building, if you haven’t been its definitely worth a visit.
