We are delighted to announce that Millom station ticket office is re-opening on Monday 6 July.
The new hours for the time being are 7am – 10am weekdays but these will be subject to change depending on the demand.
A one way system has been set up to minimise customers coming into contact with each other and hand sanitising stations have been installed at the entrance which all customers must use even if wearing gloves. There is also plenty of signage around the car park and platforms advising customers of current travel safely guidance. The toilets remain closed.
Please remember that it is still mandatory for face masks to be worn on trains.
Due to the current situation staff at Millom ticket office will not be able to process cash refunds – the best way for people to get a refund is by emailing Northern – staff will be happy to advise how to do this.
The museum, rail room and cafe remain closed for the time being.
Staff will do all they can to minimise risk and ensure customer safety is priority – please do all you can to support them and travel safely.
