Look out everyone for the new cafe on Carnforth Station!
Carnforth Railway Station Brief Encounters heritage café has re-opened with new owners and a new name. Friends, family members, members of the town council and local business got together to celebrate the occasion the reopening on September 25th 2020. The renamed Brief Encounter Refreshment Room Bistro & Bar, opened on 27th Sept, has been fully refurbished and is now owned and managed by business partners Liam and Andrea, both local to Carnforth, assisted by an excellent team. Andrea and Liam “fell in love with the quirkiness and nostalgia of the Refreshment Room and hope to combine the old with the new”. There is an exciting menu and a fine bar. Breakfast, lunch and afternoon teas are served and light evening meals will be served Thursdays to Sundays.
